Category Overview
Our unique products are completely handmade and original. Due to the frequent power outages in our rural area in South Africa, we were made very aware of our dependence on electricity for production.So we had to think out of the box. We bought in leather off-cuts, collected seedpods... added crystals and the magic began!
Our leather beads are now produced by local ladies from their homes, (where they can care for their children at the same time) and the chandeliers are individually assembled in our workshop according to our own designs. The labour intensive process creates more employment opportunities.
The locally collected jacaranda seedpods are cleaned and painted before being strung into exciting chandeliers.
The alpaca fibre from a nearby farm, is individually felted piece by piece, and mounted on wooden box frames.
Absolutely no power or machinery is required in these production processes, and the possibilities are endless! The gold of nature is right in front of one, one just needs to see it!

Kaftans

Our kaftans are hand painted with predominantly ethnic themes. All kaftans are made from 100% natural fibre and are permanently heat-sealed, making them machine washable. Our kaftans, cut for a loose fit, are perfect for hot summers and come in a variety of sizes from small to extra extra large.
